Historical Note

The Utah Women's Political Caucus (UWPC) is the state affiliate of the National Women's Political Caucus (NWPC). Founded in 1972, the group was dedicated to the passage of the Equal Rights Amendment and continues to support the election of pro-choice, feminist women to local and national office.

Content Description

The Utah Women's Political Caucus records (1989-2004) contain meeting minutes, agendas, correspondence, event invitations, financial disclosure reports, candidate endorsement questionnaires and other organization records. The collection also contains records from NWPC and other pro-choice political groups.
