Biographical NoteReturn to Top

David Charles Williams (1937-2002) spent his entire career in public service, including many years with the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management. For David, it was an honor to work for the people and their public lands. At the time of his death he envisioned a series of studies on collaborative, inter-agency decision-making and ecosystem management. His goal was to ensure the ecological health and sustainability of the public lands for many generations to come.
