Historical Note
The Five Valleys Audubon Society is a chapter of the National Audubon Society serving the Missoula, Montana area. The chapter formed in 1977. The Audubon Society promotes the conservation of natural resources through birding, education, and conservation activities.
Content Description
This collection consists of a run of newsletters documenting the interests and activities of the Five Valleys Audubon Society and its members. Newsletter names include the Five Valleys Audubon Society, the Five Valleys Observer, the Five Valleys Birding Observer and the Birding Observer. The newsletters often include information from the Board, local bird sightings, and content from the National Audubon Society.
