Historical Note
Ralph T. McElvenny (c. 1907-1990) was a mining executive. He served as chief executive of the American Natural Gas Company and, later, executive vice president.

Collection contains a photograph of the first oil well drilled by Col. Drake near Titusville, Pennsylvania; a painting of the area of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; and a photograph of Calgary.
