Historical Note
John A. Fields was a United Airlines pilot for forty-one years. He began flying in 1939. He was a veteran of World War II and participated in the training of civilian pilots.

Collection contains informational bulletins for the Civil Aeronautics Administration; a flight maneuvers booklet; sectional maps; United Airlines uniform buttons and emblems; civilian pilot emblems; and Fields’ Federal Aviation Administration Crew Member Card.
