Bob Wafenschmidt lived in Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin. He died in the early 1980s.

Home movies of road trips in California, Oregon, Colorado, Washington and Montana. Film of the Wafenschmidt house in Wisconsin is also included.

Throughout the viewing copies of each film, University of Washington Libraries has inserted time code and intertitles that display the collection name, accession number and reel number for the material that follows. These intertitles were not part of the original material but were created and added to the viewing copy at the time of transfer for clarity and tracking purposes.

Depoe Bay, Oregon, Battle Rock State Park, Oregon, Smith River, California, Oregon Caves, Wakeema Falls, buildings in Los Angeles, a rodeo and Wild West Show, Kickapoo Indian parade through town, men digging and excavating road, dynamite blasts, Grand Teton National Park, Dragon Mouth Spring, Mud Volcano Dragon's Mouth, wetland with birds, a parade though a city, Tower Falls, Granite Mt, views of mountain and Lake Chelan, men working setting explosives.
