Historical Note
Arnold John Boettcher (1933-2013) was a geologist with the United States Geological Survey and the Environmental Protection Agency. Boettcher received his degree in geology at the University of Colorado. He married Frances Louise Rogers in 1955 after meeting her while attending college there.

Collection contains publications on water resources; a report by Boettcher submitted as his master’s thesis at the University of Colorado; and a technical memorandum on the hydraulic jump.
