Biographical Note
Charles R. Start, Jr., held several editorial positions on the Spokesman-Review staff, 1931-1950. After his retirement in 1950, he began freelance writing. In 1957 Caxton Press published his Bering Sea Eagle, a biography of Alaska pilot Harry L. Blunt.
