Historical Note
The Hopffgarten Scenic Studios painted signs, outdoor advertising, theatre set decorations and theatre curtains in Boise, Idaho from about 1904 until the 1970s. The studio was founded by J. Harry Hopffgarten who was originally from Georgia and arrived in Boise in 1904.
