Josiah Gay Seabourne (1896-1978) was a member of the Civil War Round Table of the District of Columbia and served as its president in 1958. For many years he was a field guide and narrator for field trips to Civil War battlefields in the Washington, D.C. area.

Collection includes text of a speech on the religion of Abraham Lincoln; slides and accompanying text for a lecture on the Lincoln assassination and the search for John Wilkes Booth; a 1904 letter signed by Booker T. Washington; and a small amount of other correspondence.
