Content Description
Collection consists of a notebook, certificates, and a program. The notebook has "McLoughlin Engine Company No. 1 / February 1855" handwritten on the first page; it contains a manuscript constitution and roll of names, with entries dating from 1855 to 1860. The certificates, both dated 1869, are for membership in Hook and Ladder Company No. 1 of the Oregon City Fire Department. The program is for the department's Firemen's Ball on December 24, 1910; it features photographs of firefighters on the cover, and advertisements and a list of dances on the inside pages.
