Content Description
The contents of the collection include: a copy of the 1985 proposed action plan, a copy of an article titled "Student Aid: More than Just Dollars" by Eric L. Jensen, and a booklet on the Policy Concerning Doctoral Programs- College of Education.
Historical Note
Higher education funding was signed into the United States law in 1965. This was a part of President Johnson's Great Society agenda, and provided student loans, grant programs, teacher training programs, and many other aid opportunities. Today, the University of Idaho has a Financial Aid Office in the Bruce M. Pitman Center which helps bring assistance to students to help pay for higher education.
