Susan Howard was born Jeri Lynn Mooney on January 28, 1944 in Marshall, Texas. After graduating from Marshall High School in 1960, she attended the University of Texas for two years, where she studied drama. She then moved to Los Angeles to become an acting student at the Los Angeles Repertory Company. Best known for portraying Donna Culver Krebbs on the popular television show Dallas and co-starring in the series Petrocelli, Howard also guest starred on a number of other television shows including I Dream of Jeannie, Mission Impossible, and Star Trek. Howard was also a member of the Writers Guild of America and wrote two episodes for Dallas. After leaving television, Howard became a political activist, campaigning for conservative causes.
