Historical Note
Donna Rae Marburger was a student at the University of Wyoming between 1950 and 1954. She was born in Glenrock, Wyoming, in 1932. She attended Glen Rock High School and then the University of Wyoming from 1950-1954 where she majored in Physical Education. Marburger earned her Master of Science Degree at the University of Colorado, and her Ed.D. at the University of Northern Colorado. She then taught at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado, and at West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas, before coming back to Wyoming in 1967 to teach at the University of Wyoming. She retired from the University of Wyoming in 1992 and stayed in Laramie, Wyoming.
Content Description
The collection contains two scrapbooks kept by Marburger, ranging in date from 1949-1954, detailing life in high school and life at the University of Wyoming. Included are newspaper clippings, notes, pamphlets, school reports, and programs for various musical events. The material was removed from the scrapbooks for preservation reasons and placed in acid free folders. The original order of the material was maintained.
