Historical Note

The University of Wyoming, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion was opened on July 17, 2017 through the efforts of President Laurie Nichols, the Board of Trustees, and members of the University of Wyoming Campus. The office strives to create an environment of inclusion that enriches University of Wyoming’s academics while also making it a place that values, celebrates, manifests, and supports all aspects of diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus and the surrounding community.

Content Description

Collection contains the City of Laramie, Wyoming proclamation that made October 2018, Matthew Shepard’s 20th Memorial Remembrance month, photographs, posters, planning documents of UW DEI events such as the Black 14 and Matthew Shepard 20th Memorial, and access to the archived website.
