Historical Note
Davis was a television producer during the early days of live television.
Content Description
Collection includes mainly scripts for television programs Davis produced from 1939 to 1956. There are also Davis' manuscript, "The Short Happy Life of Live Television," which he wrote in 1980 to accompany and describe the scripts; Davis' collection of theater programs from the U.S. and abroad; and miscellaneous materials.
