Content Description
The provenance of the collection is unclear but it is believed to be from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. The photographs in the collection are taken by various photograph agencies which distributed images to national publications. The photographs depict war scenes in Denmark, France, Japan, and Germany as well as naval warfare and photographs taken in the United States related to the draft and homecoming celebrations. A number of photographs in the Homecoming folders depict arrivals in Seattle.
