Biographical Note

Diane Ronayne is a writer, editor, and photographer. She was the editor and art director for Idaho Wildlife Magazine from 1983-1998 and columnist for the Idaho Statesman from 1998-2010. She also contributed to Boise Magazine, Cabin, The Idaho Conservationist and more. Her published books include In Her Words - Mary Lou Reed Inlander Columns, A Brief Review of the Coroners Proceedings Shoshone County 1893-1901 with emphasis on the Dynamiting of the Bunker Hill Mine, April 29, 1899, and Boise Pops - A Century of Music for the People of Boise. As a photographer, her work has been included in many exhibits and group shows from 1985-2020. She has also been a part of the Idaho Writers Guild, American Society of Media Photographers, Idaho Press Club and the Outdoor Writers Association of America.
