The Society of the Sons of the American Revolution is a national organization founded in 1889 in Louisville, Kentucky. The society is open to direct male descendants of people who served in the American Revolutionary War. The society is devoted to the American Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. The Utah Society of the Sons of the American Revolution was chartered on January 29, 1895, in the Territory of Utah.
