Biographical Note
E. Harry Collins was a consulting engineer for the Washington Water Power Company of Spokane. He had an avid interest in the history of the Pacific Northwest and was an active member of the Wranglers and the Spokane Corral of the Westerners.
Content Description
The collection contains fragmentary records relating to Collin’s work as a consulting engineer for Washington Water Power, including a study of the WWP plants, 1928, and a Pacific Northwest power resources study, 1941-1948. Also included are research materials and drafts for papers delivered to Western history groups in Spokane: “Why the Idaho Panhandle” and “Growth of Electricity in the Inland Empire.”
