Historical NoteReturn to Top

eddie Nero (a.k.a. Edward Black) was born in New York City in 1944, and grew up in Kerhonkson N.Y., a small rural agricultural and resort community in the Catskill Mountains/Hudson Valley. He graduated from the University of Buffalo with a BA in Chemistry and an MBA., and the University of Florida with an MS in Environmental Engineering Sciences. Most of his professional career was as a mid-level manager in Public Works for the City of Springfield OR. He is married to Geraldine Moreno; they have two daughters, Tovah and Simca. Guido Bondioli (artist, friend, co-worker and mentor) stimulated eddie Nero's interest and participation in Mail Art in the mid 1990s.

This Mail Art collection includes post cards, artwork, objects, found items, artist trading cards, artistamps, add and pass sheets, rubberstamp images and other miscellaneous documents. Also included in this collection are electronic files of Mail Art sent and received by eddie Nero, artistamps created by eddie Nero (Hitam Post, Flamingo Post, Bondioli Post), and miscellaneous Mail Art files including a Call for Mail Art and Exhibit curated by the City of Springfield (Oregon) Arts Commission, eddie Nero and Guido Bondioli.
