Historical Note
Granger United Presbyterian Church is located in the heart of the Spanish-speaking community of Lower Yakima valley. The church community made it their mission to be involved with the outreach within the community and integrated ministry while dealing with increasing poverty. As migrant workers trickled in during the early 1970s, the Church actively built an inclusive community that was with the help of a bilingual pastor, Rev. William W. Ainley who joined the church in 1971.
