The Hawley Pulp and Paper Company was founded by W. P. Hawley, T. J. Seufert, R. E. Bryan and Joseph M. Healy. It was incorporated in Oregon in 1908 and was succeeded by a company incorporated in Delaware in 1926. It was formally dissolved in 1948, having been inactive since 1930.
