Historical Note

George E. Keck (1912-1999) was an executive for United Airlines during the second half of the twentieth century. Keck went to work for United Airlines as an engineer in 1946 and rose through the ranks, becoming a vice president in 1959. He served as United Airlines' chairman from 1966 to 1970.

Collection contains George E. Keck's business records from his vice presidency and chairmanship of United Airlines (1962-1970), which contain correspondence, reports, minutes, clippings, notes, printed materials, and financial documents. Files of speeches given by Keck are in this collection as well.
