Historical Note

The first National Bank of Pullman was originally incorporated in 1887 as a state bank known as the Bank of Pullman. For its first years it was closely associated with the Portland banking firm of Ladd and Tilton. It came into local ownership in the early 1890's and was converted to a national bank in March, 1892.

In 1915 the bank absorbed the Farmers State Bank of Pullman, a smaller bank which existed from 1910 to 1915. The following year the bank moved its offices from the building it had erected in 1890 to a cross-street location where it remains. Since 1964 the bank has operated as a branch of the Old National Bank of Spokane.
