- The Paul W. Hodson papers (1958-1995) contain manuscripts, research files, news clippings, and correspondence related to the writings of this University of Utah administrator. Hodson was an emeritus vice-president, former Vice President for Business (1959-1967) and Vice President for Special Projects and Director of International Education (1967-1973) at the University of Utah. He was involved with campus planning and building construction during the 1960s and 1970s, including the development of Research Park.

Biographical Note
Paul Hodson was born 8 May 1909 in Salt Lake City Utah. The received an AB from the University of Utah in 1936 and an MBA from Harvard University in 1938. He returned to the University of Utah in 1942, as secretary to the president and instructor in business. In 1967, Hodson was appointed vice president for special projects. He served as a university vice president until 1973. During the rapid expansion of the 1950s and 1960s, Hodson was in charge of the university's finance, construction and operations areas. In addition to membership on the boards of directors of various public and private companies, Hodson served as a consultant to the United States State department in the area if international education. He retired in 1973, and was assigned the rank of Vice President Emeritus.
