Historical Note

During the 1980s the twelve members of the Millville, Utah History Book Committee compiled Millville Memories: A History of Millville, Utah; From 1860 to 1990. These researchers conducted oral history interviews, collected historical information and photographs, and carried out research on the history of Millville, Utah.

This collection contains the research papers used by the Millville, Utah History Book Committee to compile Millville Memories. This eleven-box collection contains a vast collection of personal and Millville town histories. This collection contains material that was not published in Millville Memories.

Boxes 1-9 contain family histories, some of which concern Millville's early settlers. The family histories are organized by last name of the individual person or family.

Boxes 9-11 contains an array of topics regarding town history, such as copies of the Logan Temple labor records, information about mills and economics, legal documentation, and papers written about Millville's past.
