The records document issues handled by Fayette Krause as Washington land steward, primarily the protection of bald eagles in the Skagit River Bald Eagle Natural Area, circa 1976-1998, as well as Seattle City Light's consideration of Copper Creek Dam, 1979-1981.

Scope and Content: Correspondence, memoranda, reports, minutes and agendas, subject series, newsletters, financial records, and organizational material, 1971-2001 (bulk 1976-1995).

Contains correspondence, reports, and writings on managing the Skagit River Bald Eagle habitat. Also contains several subject series on Washington State Department of Natural Resources and Washington State Department of Wildlife projects. Later materials pertain mostly to workings of the conservancy's Operations Committee. Records also include materials from the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition.

Scope and Content: Campaign files and administrative files, 1958-2005.

Campaign files include records documenting efforts to create and administer the Skagit River Bald Eagle Natural Area (SRBENA), Waldron Island, Foul Weather Bluff Preserve, and other natural areas and resources. Records also include strategic and annual plans, reports, program files, correspondence, newsletters, manuals, and additional materials related to the administration of the organization. A CD-ROM contains an early demonstration of the chapter's website.

Scope and Content: These campaign files primarily document the Washington State chapter's efforts to combat invasive spartina populations along Washington costal habitats, especially in Willapa Bay, and the administration of the Skagit River Bald Eagle Natural Area (SRBENA).
