Historical Note
Walter Millis (1899-1968) was a political historian and journalist. He graduated from Yale University in 1920. Millis worked as a staff writer for the New York Herald Tribune from 1924 to 1954.

Collection contains correspondence, book chapters and articles, speeches; photographs, a diary, and newspaper clippings; and subject files with information about topics like disarmament, the ACLU, national defense, and war.
