Biographical Note

John H. (1898-1984) and Julia Hall Pearson (1900-1998) spent fifteen years pioneering missions in Bolivia for Oregon Yearly Meeting of Friends Church. Mr. Pearson was also employed at Pacific College in Newberg, Oregon, and was a member of the Gideons International.

This collection consists of correspondence, diaries, published materials, sermons, newspaper clippings, passports, photographs, and other media. The correspondence is primarily missions-related. The photographs and diaries cover missions, travel, and family subject matter. One songbook is in the Aymara language of Bolivian Indians and another is in Spanish.
