Historical Note
From the establishment of the University, students have been allowed to reside on campus in provided housing. In 1892, Old Ferry was the first dormitory. Men and women both lived in the building but resided on different floors. Eventually, Steven's Hall, a formal dormitory, was established as a women's dormitory. Presumably, The Office of Housing and Food Services has existed since the inception of WSU. Now known as WSU Housing and Residence Life, the department oversees the housing of students on campus, and the operation of dormitories and all things to do with residence on the WSU campuses.
Content Description
Primarily contains personnel files and personal notes, weekly agendas, meeting notes, and training documents. Includes files related to family housing and student residence halls. Also consists of cost reports and operational files related to student housing.
