Historical Note

Linda R. Waggener was a fifth-generation Wyomingite. In 2011, she began work on a Master of Arts degree in American Studies at the University of Wyoming. This research and subsequent writing of her ‘Plan B’ paper, Wyoming Carnegie Libraries: Their Importance in the Public Sector, were in partial fulfillment of the requirements for her M.A., which she earned in 2019. She also compiled the Wyoming Carnegie Libraries Subject Guide: Source of Information Relating to the State’s 16 Carnegie Libraries.
