Sackheim (1904-1979) was a writer for television, theater and motion pictures. He authored the 1931 play "When the Bough Breaks" and the television programs "The Deputy" and "Wagon Train."

Collection contains 36 pieces of correspondence; short story manuscripts; miscellaneous photographs; mostly photocopied scripts for the television programs "The Adventures of Ellery Queen," "The Deputy" and "Wagon Train" and the play "When the Bough Breaks"; outlines and treatments for several motion pictures; and miscellaneous other materials.
