Biographical Note

Robert H. Garff (b. 1942) is a Salt Lake City Businessman and former Speaker of the Utah State House of Representatives (Districts 57 and 20, 1979-1986). Garff graduated from the University of Utah with an MBA in 1967. He served as chairman of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games (SLOC). He also served as chairman of the Intermountain Healthcare Foundation. In addition to his involvement in local politics, government, and community activities, Garff has also held numerous leadership positions within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).
