Historical Note

The "Wyoming Women’s History: Choices and Changes Oral History Project" was conducted by Susan McKay from 2017-2022. The project was intended to capture experiences of women born between 1939 and 1946 who lived in Wyoming all or most of their lives. The focus was upon ordinary women who experienced times of significant societal change and how the influence of living in Wyoming may have affected their choices and the changes they experienced in their lives. Over fifty women were interviewed throughout the state of Wyoming from 2017-2022.
