Historical Note

The Wyoming Union was opened on March 3, 1939. Additions to the building were completed in 1957, 1973, and 2002. The Wyoming Union has contained offices, meeting rooms, a bowling alley, a barbershop, a food court, the University store, and other facilities. The building has served as a place for students, staff, faculty, community, and campus visitors to come together.
