Historical NoteReturn to Top
The Cascade Neighborhood (CNC) is a not-for-profit organization formed to preserve and improve the neighborhood in accordance with the wishes of the community. The Cascade neighborhood of Seattle is bound by I-5 on the east, Denny Way on the south, Fairview Avenue on the west, and Mercer Street to the north.
The organization was formed in the early 1970's as a community service organization, but was inactive from 1989 to 1992. It was reactived in response to the Commons proposal.
