Arrangement
The papers consist almost entirely of foldered research materials, made up of notes, correspondence, news clippings, copies of historical documents, pamphlets and other such ephemeral literature, maps, and a great many photographs. Most of these rese arch materials are organized as one long alphabetical sequence of subject files, with some unordered files following. Shorter sequences concern schools and cemeteries. The papers are retained with Weatherly's folder titles and alphabetization practices. The folder titles do not present the dates of the contents.
Acquisition Information
The papers of Robert Weatherly of Asotin, Washington, were transferred to the Washington State University Libraries in February and March of 1998 (MS98-06 and MS98-10) by the executor of Mr. Weatherly's estate.
Processing Note
Kristofer Svingen processed the collect ion from June to August of 1999.
