Historical Note

The Northwest Craft Center, a not-for-profit organization, was founded in 1963 at the Seattle Center as a ceramics showplace and gallery. The incorporating board members in 1965 were Norman Warsinske, Jean Johanson, Lorene Spencer, Robert Sperry, Don Foster and Director, Ruth Nomura. The Northwest Craft Center closed in 2011.
