Historical Note
Newell, Gossett & Walsh was a civil engineering firm based in Portland, Oregon, in the early 20th century. Its partners were Joseph P. Newell, Chancy H. Gossett (sometimes written as Chancey H. Gossett), and Frank J. Walsh. After 1922, the firm was named Newell, Carter & Walsh.

Content Description
The collection consists of a blueprint technical drawing of a land tract, produced by the civil engineering firm Newell, Gossett & Walsh. The drawing shows Clements Tract in Section 17, Township 2, North Range 1, West Willamette Meridian, on Sauvie Island, Oregon. The drawing has notations at multiple points for setting iron pipes, and notes the property of a "Mrs. Dunn" and a corner of the Cline Donation Land Claim.
