Biographical Note

Sue Jensen Weeks was born in Provo, Utah. After attending public schools in Lewiston, New York and Palo Alto, California, she attended the University of Utah, University of Oslo, and Rhode Island School of Design. Weeks graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in film making. She started out in film and screen writing, writing for many documentaries including some about Sanpete County, which showed at film festivals in Krakow, Poland and England and later at Snow College. Weeks is now a poet, author, and painter.

Content Description

The Sue Jensen Weeks independent film collection consists of 16mm films, reel-to-reel audiotapes, and Mini-DV tapes of her film projects, including workprints and film elements. Weeks' films include both experimental and documentary style, and some of them deal with life in Sanpete County, Ephraim, and Spring City, Utah.
