Summary
The Ross L. Romero papers (1998-2016) include correspondence, convention and conferences materials, legislative materials, as well as presentations, projects, and reports. A large part of the materials relate to Romero's involvement in the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators and the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. Biographical Note

Ross Romero is an attorney and democratic politician, serving in the Utah House of Representatives from 2004-2006 and the Utah State Senate from 2006-2012. Romero also served as the Utah Senate Minority Leader from 2010-2012 and was involved in many organizations, such as the Board of Hispanic Caucus Chairs and the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators. Romero advocated for causes such as higher education and responsible environmental quality, while serving on various committees, including the Judiciary, Law Enforcement, and Criminal Justice Committee and the Revenue and Taxation Committee.
