Biographical Note
Aaron Paul Horst (1903-1999) was born in Garden City, Kansas. He was known as Paul or A. Paul Horst in his personal and professional life. He was Professor of Psychology at the University of Washington, 1947-1969 and Executive Director of the University of Washington's Division of Counseling and Testing Services, 1950-1960. He was a co-founder of the Psychometric Society in 1935, and co-founder of the journal, Pschometrika, in 1936.
