Wendell Hoag papers, circa 1868-2002

Scope and Content: Personal correspondence, monthly and annual printed newsletters, correspondence of others, diaries, cassette tapes of interviews with family members, transcripts of interviews, scholastic records, military and legal records, transcripts of family diaries, genealogy charts, computer diskettes, yearbooks, and ephemera. Papers primarily document Hoag's personal relationships and activities during the period 1977-1996, including interviews with Hogg and Kolp relatives relating to family history. Diaries and monthly newsletters distributed to family and friends are particularly rich sources of information about Hoag and his family.

Papers also contain copies of grandfather's correspondence and copies and transcripts of diaries kept by his maternal grandfather and great-grandfather.

Scope and Content: Outgoing correspondence, lists, legal documents, typescript and newsletters. Bulk of papers is the correspondence from Wendell and his third wife, Lucy.
