Historical Note
William C. Irvine (1852-1924) was a Wyoming businessman and politician. He was a member of the Wyoming State Constitutional Convention in 1889, and in 1903-1904 was state treasurer. He served in the Wyoming State Senate from 1913-1917.
Content Description
The collection contains business and personal records of William C. Irvine reflecting his interests in various oil ventures, land holdings, and fraternal organizations. There is also a transcription of an 1870 diary of William C. Irvine describing a trip through Kansas with an ox train.
