Historical Note
The Gay Fathers Association of Seattle (GFAS) was founded in 1979 to provide a safe forum and supportive environment for gay or bisexual men who are or want to be fathers, or who have been or are currently married. GFAS hosts weekly meetings, social events, and promotes networking in the larger community to assist its community with issues such as parenting, coming out, and relationships with families and friends.
