Bulk of the accession documents environmentalists' campaign for legislative enactment of wilderness areas in Washington State. A smaller amount documents a similar campaign in Oregon. Both measures passed Congress in mid-1984. The Washington Wilderness Act is P.L. 98-339. Also documents the Ancient Forest Campaign, ca. 1987-1992.
