Biographical Note

J. B. Loundagin was a photographer in the late 19th and early 20th century. While residing in Waitsburg, Washington, he photographed scenes of his community, some of which were published in the March 1908 edition of The Coast magazine to illustrate an article on Waitsburg. In addition to his photographic work in Waitsburg, he also used a railroad photograph car to photograph in Missouri in 1897. He was an active member of the community, serving on the school board in 1902, and as a city councilmember from 1906 through 1908.
