Biographical Note

Suzanne McCorkle is an Emeritus Professor of Public Policy and Administration at Boise State University. She retired from the Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management programs in 2015. She specialized in interpersonal conflict management, mediation, negotiation, culture and conflict, and organizational theory. She co-authored People Skills for Public Managers, Mediation Theory and Practice, 2nd Edition, and Personal Conflict Management.

The collection consists of drafts and transcripts from McCorkle's various speeches and presentations on conflict management and leadership, drafts of unpublished books, and notes from the conflict management concept, The Three Laws, which she developed. The collection also includes research files on the anti-gay initiative of 1993-1994, No on One materials, speeches from political figures, and public speaking and conflict management research materials.
