Historical Note

Bernard Leonard Horecker (1914-2010) was a biochemist. He was known for his work in cellular regulation. From 1941 to 1959, Horecker worked at the United State Public Health Service at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He went on to teach at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Roche Institute of Molecular Biology, and Cornell University.
